Penn State finished their second weekend of play of the new semester with split results. The Nittany Lions come home from an 11-game away stretch with a 3-1 victory on Friday and a 4-1 loss the following Saturday afternoon against the Lindenwood Lions.
The two games were similar in style, although the results varied. The Nittany Lions led both games in shots on goal and found success on the power plays, scoring two goals on the one-skater advantage.
Penn State’s offense rattled off a total of 72 shots in the two game series and compared to Lindenwood’s 42 shots on net, it’s clear who was in control of the puck for the majority of both games.
