This season has been a struggle for Penn State. A 5-13-4 struggle.
Goals have been tough to come by as the Nittany Lions average less than two a game and that has seen a lot of strong efforts between the pipes wasted.
However, the Lions ended winter break on a high note. During a 3-2 comeback win against Ohio State, the Lions found themselves a goal down less than a minute into the game against the Buckeyes, and two down by the end of the opening frame.
Starting with Emily Laurenzi, the next 20 minutes produced three Lion goals.
