Waves of pink were scattered throughout the 1,373 fans packed into Pegula Ice Arena on Saturday.

Filling up the seats in both student and non-student sections alike, Penn State's second game of the weekend against Syracuse carried added weight, as both teams participated in the Skate for the Cure game. The Orange took the contest, 2-1, dropping the Lions' record to 9-16-5 on the season.

Finishing up the season series with the Orange, the game aimed at the support for breast cancer research in an exciting way. The pink-clad Lions fans got into the game with free admission for wearing the color, as well as a post-game skate with the team.
