On Tuesday, the College Hockey America announced its selections for the 2015-16 All-Academic Team. Of the 88 students, 18 players came from Penn State, according to a release from GoPSUSports.com.
To qualify for the team, the student-athletes must have posted at least a 3.0 GPA in all academic semesters during which their respective teams were actively competing. The Nittany Lions and CHA conference rival, Robert Morris, led the way with 18 selected players from each team.
The Lions' Jeanette Bateman, Laura Bowman, Micayla Catanzariti, Kelsey Crow, Hannah Ehresmann, Jill Holdcroft, Paige Jahnke, Irene Kiroplis, Emily Laurenzi, Remi Martin, Sarah Nielsen, Jordin Pardoski, Amy Petersen, Kelly Seward, Bella Sutton, Celine Whitlinger, Sarah Wilkie and Shannon Yoxheimer were all selected.
