After previously getting swept by the Orange earlier this season, the Nittany Lions are looking to return the favor and pass Syracuse in the CHA standings when they travel to New York this weekend.
Sitting just one conference win behind Syracuse, Penn State, currently 10-9-4 (4-6 CHA), can move to 6-6 in conference play if it is able to pull out two wins against a struggling Syracuse team who is 5-17-1 (5-5 CHA), with all five of its wins coming against conference opponents. If the Nittany Lions and Orange split the series or tie in either of their two upcoming games, Syracuse would hold the conference tiebreaker at the current moment.
