Penn State is looking to continue its winning ways this weekend after strong performances against No. 9 Colgate and Providence the last two weeks.
Winning three of their last four games, the Nittany Lions currently sit at 4-3-1. They travel to Erie, Pennsylvania, to start conference play this Friday against a 3-5 Mercyhurst squad. The Lakers have also won three of their last four games after losing the first four.
Mercyhurst has allowed 11 first-period goals this year, while only scoring four. Second-year coach Jeff Kampersal is looking for his team to play aggressive from the drop of the puck.
