Despite its success on Friday night, Penn State couldn’t carry the momentum through the game on Saturday afternoon at Pegula Ice Arena.
The Nittany Lions fall to 10-17-5 on the season and 6-7-5 in the conference while Lindenwood improves to 8-20-4 on the season and 5-9-4 in the conference. Lindenwood shut out the Lions 1-0.
“There’s certainly a lot to look back on and to reflect on,” coach Josh Brandwene said. “I think in many ways, we played well enough to get a different result. I thought we did a lot well, defensively, generated some good chances – especially in the third period.
