Penn State women's hockey gets dramatic overtime win against Robert Morris

Hockey games often go through a lot of twist and turns.

Penn State’s 3-2 overtime win over Robert Morris was no exception. The Nittany Lions (7-14-4) had a two-goal lead midway through the third period before surrendering it due to two quick Colonial (12-9-4) goals.

Those goals came after an opening two periods that saw the Lions find the net once in each frame. The Lions were going to have to face adversity in another tight game to get the win.

“They have that confidence that they know what they are capable of,” coach Josh Brandwene said.
