Coach Josh Brandwene announced Monday that seven players have signed letters of intent to play for the Nittany Lions in the 2016-17 season.
New signees include several distinguished skaters, including USA Hockey National Camp attendee Brooke Madsen and 2014 USA Canada Cup champion Kate Rydland. Forward Amanda McLeod will become the fifth member of the team from Minnetonka High School in Minnesota, joining former teammates Laura Bowman, Kelsey Crow, Hannah Ehresmann and Amy Petersen.
“The 2016 signees bring our program another class of incredibly well-rounded student-athletes; committed hard working students who possess tremendous character, personality, and outstanding hockey talent,” Brandwene said via press release.
