In a series highlighted by promotions — first a faculty and staff appreciation night on Friday and a Skate for the Cure game on Saturday — and an appearance on the Big Ten Network, Penn State couldn’t continue its success from last weekend.
The Nittany Lions (9-16-5, 5-6-5 College Hockey America) dropped another two games to a conference rival, No. 2 Syracuse (14-13-3, 10-4-2 CHA), with a 3-2 overtime loss on Friday night and a 2-1 loss on Saturday afternoon.
“We definitely knew where we stood in the CHA and where they stood,” forward Amy Petersen said.
