Freshman Lauren Bridgens won three individual event titles and scored her careers best of 39.300 leaving her the all-around title at Penn State’s nonconference tri-meet against Penn and Cornell.
The Nittany Lions won their third meet of the season, and prepare to soon compete in regionals.
“We started out strong, we only had five up on vault and I thought we had a really strong rotation there,” coach Sarah Brown said. “Again, bars continues to be an area where we do well. But again, I think there is more that we can do. We can hit better handstands and stick a few more landings.
