Following a stretch of four straight gut-wrenching losses, Penn State got back to winning ways on Thursday night.
The Lady Lions used hot shooting and solid defense in the 4th quarter to come from behind and upset No. 17 Michigan State in East Lansing 65-61.
Although they got off to yet another slow start to open up their Big Ten road contest, the Lions used a strong finish to take down the Spartans.
While the Spartans jumped out to an early 8-0 lead, the Lions outscored the green and white 21-11 in the final quarter of play to stop their recent skid.
