The Lady Lions defeated Holy Cross by a small margin of 86-82 on Friday night at the Bryce Jordan Center to tip off their 2015-16 season.
The Lions got off to a slow start as they found themselves behind Holy Cross for much of the first quarter. Lindsey Spann and Ashanti Thomas had back-to-back shot attempts, but the ball wouldn’t find the net against the Crusaders’ defense.
