Penn State returned to the Bryce Jordan Center on Thursday with the chance to end a four-game Losing streak against the 11-4 Oregon Ducks.
Despite a second-half comeback, the Lady Lions missed a buzzer-beater, falling to Oregon, 63-61.
Oregon opened the contest with suffocating halfcourt defense, forcing a shot clock violation on the Lady Lions on their second possession.
The Ducks caused chaos with their full-court press and transition offense early, characteristic of what Carolyn Kieger has done with her team this season. The blue and white showed a different look, backing into a halfcourt zone defensively.
