After tying the game at 24 apiece roughly midway through the second quarter, Penn State couldn’t keep pace with Nebraska Tuesday night and ultimately fell 87-69.
The loss was the Lady Lions’ third straight defeat. The three game skid comes on the heels of back-to-back wins on the road against Iowa and Illinois on Jan. 20 and 23.
After the Lions knotted the score at 24 with four minutes to go until halftime, the Huskers used a 14-3 run to close out the half and eliminate any momentum their opponent had built up to that. They went into the break leading 38-27.
