A new campaign for Penn State began on Tuesday.
The Lady Lions took on Bucknell in the early evening slate at the Bryce Jordan Center.
The Bison were no match for coach Carolyn Kieger’s bunch, as Penn State trounced them 94-51.
The Lady Lions matched Bucknell with four turnovers in the first few minutes, which was expected in a new season.
As the team got settled, Kieger seemed to experiment with different lineup combinations, playing all 11 active players within the first quarter of play — guard Ashley Owusu was inactive for the contest.
“That way that we play and the pace that we play at we’re going to have to sub a lot,” Kieger said.
