Following a week where it split two games against ranked opponents, Penn State will take on two more strong Big Ten teams to complete its gauntlet month of January.
The blue and white will return home to the Bryce Jordan Center to face Rutgers at 1 p.m. Sunday and No. 8 Maryland at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Both games will be streamed on Big Ten Plus.
Rutgers
Sunday will be the first meeting between Penn State and Rutgers, with the Lady Lions winning their lone matchup last season, 94-80. Three of four Penn State starters from that game have either transferred or graduated, so this year’s result could look different.
