After nearly two weeks with no scheduled games, Penn State is well rested and ready to bounce back with two tough in-conference matches against Minnesota and Iowa on the way.
Most recently, the Lady Lions suffered a nail-biting 68-65 loss to Kansas. Both teams went back and forth in the first half, but the blue and white managed to scrape by and head into the break with a 29-28 lead.
Gracie Merkle and Moriah Murray both had strong performances, keeping Penn State’s offense dynamic and fluid, combining for 38 points.
However, Kansas came out the half ready to take the game back in its favor and outscored the Lady Lions 21-14 in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback.
