Every game was starting to look the same for Penn State — a slow start before catching up in the second half, then falling to its opponent.
Not this time.
With no lead changes, the Lady Lions (7-11, 2-5 Big Ten) took down Iowa (13-6, 3-4 Big Ten) in the Hawkeyes’ own city on Wednesday night.
Before the 82-69 defeat, the Hawkeyes had won seven of eight games in the Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and the Lions had not won one away game.
For the third time this season, five Lions reached double-figures in scoring.
