On Wednesday night, the Lady Lions delivered an impressive 40 minutes of basketball against the No. 4 team in the county.
Penn State lost to No. 4 Tennessee, 74-66, as the Lions refused to falter in effort despite injuries and a mixture of unpredictable lineups.
“I have a lot of confidence in the way that we play,” coach Coquese Washington said. “It doesn’t really matter who’s out there, we’re building chemistry.”
The Lions were looking for a faster start to their matchups and Washington said much of the energy came from the upperclassmen.
