It has been a difficult stretch of games for Penn State, but that finally changed on Wednesday.
The Lady Lions had dropped four out of their last five games heading into their contest against Indiana, but their fortunes proved to be different on this night as the Lady Lions raced out to an early lead and held off a fierce Indiana charge. Penn State defeated the Hoosiers by a score of 77-74 at the Bryce Jordan Center.
With the win, Penn State improves to 1-2 in Big Ten conference play. The victory also boosts the Lady Lions' record to 10-6 on the year.
