On Oct. 28, Penn State women's basketball head coach Coquese Washington set aside part of her morning to take part in a conference call that included all of the Big Ten teams.
Adjustment to the rules
A common theme in the conference call was how the individual programs have adjusted to the new NCAA rules regarding free throws and one-on-ones during a game.
Although Washington did not comment on neither her nor her team's experiences with the new rules, she said she has "heard it both ways." Washington said she thinks there should be more open "dialogue and discussion" next year so everyone can "get a feel of where the overall membership is.
