Penn State women’s basketball goes on the road, defeats Providence

The Penn State Lady Lions faced a tough test on the road today against Providence on Saturday .

They passed, and have reached the 4-0 mark.

Penn State held off the Friars to win 60-51. Twenty-three of those 60 came from sophomore point guard Amari Carter.

Carter clocked in 40 minutes in today’s matchup and shot 10-of-20 from the field while going 3-of-9 from 3-point range. To add to the impressive scoring numbers, she had only one turnover and two steals.

Among other scoring contributors were Siyeh Frazier with 10 as well as Jaylen Williams, Jaida Travascio-Green, and Kamaria McDaniel all with six a piece.
