In its last game of the regular season, Penn State went back to its old ways and could not recover from a slow start.
The Lady Lions fell 76-55 to the Hoosiers on Saturday afternoon in Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers (20-10, 12-6 Big Ten) opened the first quarter with an 8-0 run, followed by a Candice Agee layup. Both teams exchanged baskets, and the Hoosiers closed out the quarter with a 21-9 lead.
The Hoosiers took over the second quarter, outscoring the Lions 21-10. While the Lions (11-18, 6-12 Big Ten) only shot 27 percent from the field, the Hoosiers hit 47 percent to cap a 44-19 lead going into the half.
