Despite a 22-point effort from Teniya Page, Penn State couldn't hold on for a third win in four games and dropped Saturday's matchup with Michigan 78-73.
The Wolverines (16-11, 8-8 Big Ten) entered the fourth quarter trailing the Lady Lions 55-52, but roared back to outscore their opponents 26-18 in the final frame and seal the win.
Despite trailing 10-3 early on in the first quarter, the Lions (10-16, 5-11) used a couple of triples from sophomore Lindsey Spann to climb back into the game and ultimately took a lead at the end of one.
Spann finished the game with 14 points, giving her three straight games in double figures in scoring.
