Penn State Women's Basketball defeats Central Connecticut State for perfect 3-0 home record

The first half included slow starts, mild energy and a disconnected offense for Penn State

Little by little, the Lady Lions picked up their pace and overcame Central Connecticut State University with a 73-47 win at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The victory marks a perfect 3-0 home record for the Lions, despite the team’s sloppy beginning.

The Lions' offense just couldn’t seem to find a steady rhythm against the Blue Devils. Prior to the game, coach Coquese Washington said Central Connecticut’s defense would be tricky to beat due to the team’s tough, scrappy defense.
