Penn State didn’t exactly play great on Saturday, but the Nittany Lions were able to come out of Baltimore with a one-point victory over the Maryland Terrapins. Penn State was the favorite in the game, but couldn’t pull away from the pesky Terps. Eventually, Penn State did enough to pull out the win.
This game was a complete change from how things have gone this season. Normally, it’s the Penn State defense that carries the team. However, against the Terps, the defense struggled and the offense came through when needed.
Quarterback Christian Hackenberg played a fantastic game and became Penn State’s all-time leader in career passing yards and completions.
