It took withstanding a late charge by Indiana last week for Penn State to snap its two-game losing streak. Both losses were heartbreaking — coming at the end of each respective game. Also, both losses were at Beaver Stadium and essentially took the Nittany Lions out of any College Football Playoff conversation.
This week brings a very tough matchup with Iowa — a team that’s always a challenge for the Nittany Lions. Last year’s game in Iowa City went down to Penn State’s final possession before the Nittany Lions were able to pull off the miracle comeback when Trace McSorley hit Juwan Johnson in the end zone as time expired.
