They have performed around the world, but 24 members of Penn State University’s classically trained Concert Choir will experience something unlike anything in their lives Saturday when they sing at Heinz Field with The Rolling Stones.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the pre-performance advice they can expect from Christopher Kiver, the choir’s director, will include a few words that have less to do with music than with life.
“Enjoy the moment,” he said he plans to tell the students, some of whom just graduated. “If you can, take a moment to look around and think to yourself what an incredible opportunity this is.
