On the fourth and final day of the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Penn State completed it's women's competition with two All-American performances and one bronze medal.
Tori Gerlach, who posted the second-fastest time in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, during the preliminary competition, took the bronze medal with her time of 9:46.76 — the second-fastest time in program history — and earned All-American honors.
Gerlach's finish was also the highest finish by a Nittany Lion since 2010, when Bridget Franek took home the NCAA title in the same event.
Dannielle Gibson also earned All-American honors in the women's triple jump with her sixth-place distance of 43 feet-10 inches (13.
