It’s a rare event when Penn State strays from its den during the indoor season.
The Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track is one of the best indoor facilities in the country, and four of the six regular season indoor meets are scheduled inside its walls.
The Nittany Lions don’t have many chances to experience life outside of it before the championship season.
“I stress to the team that you got to come in and take what’s presented, and you compete and do your best,” coach Gondak said. “They’ve been doing a great job of that, and I’m looking forward to seeing some more outstanding results this weekend.
