A week after breaking a 10-year-old Penn State record, Danae Rivers and the rest of Penn State track and field will return to action in Happy Valley.
Penn State will host 27 schools for the Penn State National Open at the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track this weekend. The Open will begin on Friday at 4 p.m. and resume Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
The Nittany Lions returned from the 2017 Roy McCravy with very impressive performances under their belts.
On the women's side, Rivers broke the 800-meter record with her time of 2:04.67, previously held by Briene Simmons.
