After nearly two weeks without competition, Penn State will return to the track on Friday, March 25. However, this time the team will not be constrained to being inside its comfy home at the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Facility. This weekend, the Nittany Lions will take to the outdoors when they travel west to Tempe, Arizona, to compete in the Big Ten–Pac 12 Challenge.
The meet kicks off the outdoor season and is the first of three consecutive meets where the team will compete outside of Pennsylvania.
Something to watch for in Tempe will be the expansion of the team’s field events.
