Penn State track and field sets personal bests at Sykes & Sabock Challenge

Penn State track and field donned its original pink and black uniforms at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge, while also representing the seniors on Senior Day.

In usual fashion, the Nittany Lions dominated the 60-meters, as Dani Prunzik, Lauren Princz and Addyson White advanced to the finals in the women’s race, while freshman phenom Ajani Dwyer moved on in the men’s.

After clearing the 3.85-meter bar, Gabriella Recce jumped 4.00 meters in the women’s pole vault, tying for second place.

In the women’s long jump, Swiss army knife Maddie Pitts finished third with a bronze medal a week after winning the pentathlon at the Penn State National Open.
