With many athletes earning personal-bests at the Nittany Lion Challenge, Penn State traveled down to Clemson, SC with momentum on its side.
The Nittany Lions stepped up their game for day one of the Clemson Invitational. The team will be competing again tomorrow, where they'll be able to feature their depth in the mid-distance events as well as relays.
Similarly to last meet, Penn State shined in the mile run, except this time with different athletes.
After trailing for the last lap, sophomore Domenic Perretta had a speedy kick to win the race. His time of 4:10.
