Penn State track and field competes at Florida Relays

A week after a school record and No. 2 spot in Penn State history were set, Penn State track and field was back in the starting blocks for the Florida Relays.

The Nittany Lions competed on Friday and Saturday in Gainesville, where they earned many personal-best marks.

Day 1

Senior Nathan Williams started the day off with a bang in the men’s hammer throw, throwing the No. 3 mark in Penn State history. Williams set a personal best of over two meters, throwing 66.83 meters for third place. Senior Collin Burkhart also competed in the hammer throw and finished 11th with a 60.
