With the Big Ten Championships just a week away, Penn State track and field completed its final “tune-ups” at the Penn State Tune-Up meet.
Collin Burkhart and the men’s weight throw opened the competition, as Burkhart took the victory with a throw of 19.38 meters. Graduate thrower Nathan Williams finished just behind with a throw of 19.29 meters.
Sophomore Gabi Deglau followed up the men’s competition with a personal-best 17.76 meters, finishing in second place in the women’s weight throw.
The Nittany Lions took another 1-2 finish in the men’s shot put as Dylan Lambrecht and Ryan Henry threw for 17.
