Penn State has its new offensive coordinator, and he runs an offense that moves the ball and puts up points.
Head coach James Franklin tabbed now former Fordham head coach Joe Moorhead to replace the dismissed John Donovan on Saturday night. Moorhead has called plays for a number of years, and the 42-year old Pittsburgh native brings head coach wisdom and creativity to the Lions' coaching staff.
"I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting to work," Moorhead said in a released statement.
One of his first responsibilities will be evaluating Penn State's offense, which one can assume includes coaches and players, during preparations for the TaxSlayer Bowl.
