As the only Big Ten team remaining without a conference win, every game has become must-win for Penn State.

The Nittany Lions played another solid game on the road against Minnesota and put themselves in a position to win, but couldn’t close it out.

Lamar Stevens tied the game up with 11 seconds left, but Minnesota’s Dupree McBrayer drew a foul with 2.7 seconds left and made the second free throw after missing the first, giving the Golden Gophers the 65-64 win after a last second shot by Stevens fell short.
