Penn State stays at No. 2 as expected in latest Associated Press, Coaches Polls

Penn State stayed still in this week's Associated Press' and USA Today Coaches' top-25 polls.

The Lions remained at No. 2 after pasting Michigan, 42-13 at Beaver Stadium on Saturday evening.

Alabama is still No. 1, while 7-0 Georgia checks in at No. 3 and unbeaten TCU sits at No. 4.

This weekend's opponent, Ohio State, is No. 6 in both polls, while Michigan fell out of the Coaches Poll top-25 but hung on in the AP rankings at No. 25 following its loss in State College.

The first College Football Playoff rankings will be released next Tuesday.
