Absolute chaos was the only way to describe the doubleheader between Saint Francis and Penn State.
Penn State split the Saint Francis series Wednesday before heading on the road to Purdue this weekend.
The bats came alive for the Nittany Lions, as they tallied 26 hits over two games.
Penn State defeated Saint Francis in walkoff fashion in game one, as it won 8-7. In game two, Penn State suffered a loss in a wild hitting frenzy, 17-13.
“I’m really proud of how we fought back game one,” coach Amanda Lehotak said. “I think the theme of the night is our lack of defense.
