Penn State softball’s offense bounces back in game two of doubleheader

After only seeing one runner cross home plate in its first game with Robert Morris on Wednesday, Penn State’s offense came back to life in its game two win of the midweek series.

The Nittany Lions were held hitless until the fifth inning in the first game between the two teams.

They were also limited to just three hits total for the first matchup.

Not surprisingly they lost the opening game of the series to the Colonials 3-1 despite solid pitching performances from Marlaina Laubach, Christy Von Pusch, Madison Shaffer and Madison Seifert.
