Amid this remarkable run, sophomore Brooke Klosowicz has made a significant impact, carrying her momentum into the Nittany Lions' first homecoming series.
At the Penn State Invitational, the Johnsburg, Illinois, native excelled with a stellar 9-for-12 batting performance over four games, hitting three home runs and three doubles. As a result, she has been recognized as the Big Ten Player of the Week.
Klosowicz now holds the third highest batting average in the Big Ten at .522, with an opportunity to maintain her impressive season during the first series against conference opponents Northwestern and Minnesota from March 13-16.
