Continuing the offensive momentum shown against Indiana on Friday, Penn State took it even further against the Hoosiers on Saturday to compile a team season high of 18 hits in just seven innings.
The Nittany Lions (19-16, 8-2 Big Ten) managed their second win of the three game series against the Hoosiers (21-16, 4-6 Big Ten), securing the 15-7 victory at Andy Mohr Field on Saturday.
Similar to Friday’s contest, the Lions remained hot at the plate.
Leading the game offensively for the Lions was sophomore Alyssa VanDerveer, who had four hits, four RBIs and scored three runs for her team.
