Penn State softball is two weeks into its 2025 season and is already experiencing growing pains.
After a brutal 1-4 opening campaign for the blue and white, coach Clarisa Crowell’s unit had a bounce-back weekend, finishing 2-3 at the Fonseca Memorial Tournament at USF, where they fell in the final round of matchups.
With a 3-7 record, Crowell has revealed the squad's mindset after these results.
“1-0 mindset; we don't know anything else,” Crowell said. “One day at a time, and even when we win, the mentality remains the same; our process for winning and losing is the exact same.
