Penn State Class of 2017 signee Journey Brown and Class of 2018 verbal commitment Zack Kuntz both came to Shippensburg on Saturday hoping to win a gold medal on day two of the PIAA Track and Field finals.
Both succeeded.
Kuntz ran first, and the Camp Hill junior blew away the field in the AA 110 meter hurdles, taking first place with a time of 14.47 seconds. He also finished third in the 300 meter hurdles.
Brown then followed suit in the 3A 100 meter dash, showcasing his blazing speed that is just one reason Penn State offered him late in the most recent recruiting cycle to set a new state record with a gold medal time of 10.
