Next fall, Penn State defensive line coach Sean Spencer will have his work cut out for him. The Nittany Lions will lose both starting defensive tackles in Anthony Zettel and Austin Johnson, as well as their top reserve defensive tackle Tarow Barney this offseason. This is going to leave the Nittany Lions very thin at defensive tackle while also lacking experience.
Further working against Coach Chaos and the Nittany Lions is last week’s de-commitment of 4-star defensive tackle Karamo Dioubate. The Philadelphia native seemed primed to be able to step in and give the Nittany Lions playing time right away as a true freshman in the fall.
