On the up and up!
The latest AP Poll was released today and Penn State basketball moved up three spots from No. 23 to No. 23.
This comes after a week where the Nittany Lions played just one game, demolishing lowly Central Connecticut State 87-58.
The ranking marks the highest that Penn State has been since the finish of the 1995-96 season when the Nittany Lions checked in at No. 18.
The focus now moves forward to a game on Sunday against Cornell, which sports a 1-9 record overall. Assuming Penn State avoids a complete and utter meltdown against the Big Red, there’s a solid chance it moves up again with the way teams in from of the Nittany Lions have dropped in recent weeks.
