Penn State RHP Frankie Sanchez was shut down for the 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery at the end of last year, according to coach Mike Gambino.
Gambino appeared on the podcast, "Truck Stop Baseball," which was released Thursday, and disclosed the news.

Sanchez joined the Nittany Lions last season after spending his first two years at Southern New Hampshire.
