Penn State recruiting target Scott Nelson 'hopefully' can take a visit; the Lions' game to watch in '16, and more

Today's Penn State football news includes a quick comment from recruiting target Scott Nelson and a look at a game to watch on the Nittany Lions' 2016 schedule.

Nelson, a three-star safety from Detroit, Mich., received a Penn State offer on Tuesday. The 6-2, 180-pound prospect checked in with Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports about the latest addition to his offer sheet, and he talked about the sales pitch coach James Franklin used to pique his interest. Nelson said he could "hopefully" visit Happy Valley.
